Mit Tabletts und Schalen aus Mangoholz erwerben Sie ein nachhaltiges Produkt aus Indien.
Mangobäume werden in 15 - 20 Jahren ca.18 - 30 m hoch und erreichen einen Durchmesser von ca. 1,5 m. Nach ca. 3 Jahren tragen sie Früchte und Mangos werden geerntet. Wenn der Baum ausgewachsen ist, produziert er keine Früchte mehr und wird gefällt. Junge Triebe ersetzen ihn dann.
Herstellung
Früher wurde das Mangoholz von den Bauern verbrannt aber inzwischen hat man den Wert des Holzes erkannt und es werden daraus u. a. Tische, Tabletts, Schüsseln und Salatbesteck gefertigt.
Die Tabletts und Schalen bekommen innen mit einem hauchdünne (wie Blattgold) Design belegt und werden dann mit Hartharz versiegelt und sind dadurch lebensmittelecht.
Verwendung
Sie können die Schalen als Servierschale für Ihre Salate, Chips oder als Brotschale oder auch für Bowls nutzen.
Bitte nicht in die Spülmaschinen stellen oder stundenlang in Wasser liegen lassen. Kurz abwaschen reicht.
